I just read a fascinating blog post by Adam Copeland and immediately wondered what my fellow PCCers would think. What did Adam do that was so thought-provoking? He live-blogged a presbytery meeting. That is, he published a play-by-play of the meeting as it was happening. A portion of the post is reproduced here:
So what do you think? How would presbyters you know react to one of their own broadcasting the meeting in real-time?

Well, it was interesting reading! How it would go over if done in real time though I’m just not sure. Couldn’t there be some sensitive issues that shouldn’t be blogged about?

I like the idea, obviously it would have to be done in such a way that the sensitive issues weren’t blogged about. Really, its just a minute of the meeting that is more readily available!
In the Church of Scotland, no-ones blogged a presbytery meeting as it happens yet, but myself and a number of others will usually tweet updates about the General Assembly or the Youth Assembly as it happens, with blog posts about both usually being updated 2/3 times per day.
I’m fascinated by this idea, and look forward to hearing how it develops!

Having just read a twitter message (or is that a tweet?) from the Clerk’s Conference….I’m not sure if this is a great idea…..
